Good Neighbor Expo

29 March 2017

The 2017 Chamber Good Neighbor Expo was held on March 8, 2017 at Pritchard Community Center, Elizabethtown. The expo gave the opportunity for the Chamber to showcase its community’s major employers, emphasizing their importance to its continued economic growth and their good neighbor involvement. During the event expo participants highlighted the ways in which their company contributes to the community.

This year, we participated in the event featuring as the newest Chamber Member. Besides being important to the community’s economic growth, we have collaborated with East Hardin Middle School to implement ‘PROJECT LEAD THE WAY’, which introduces and sparks interest around the STEM disciples for American youth. We have also welcomed over 200 local 8th grade students to tour our site for them to preview the entire manufacturing experience. Great examples that demonstrate our ‘Good Neighbor’ involvement within our community.

“Thank you Amaray, for your Good Neighbor involvement. You are a true example of what the Good Neighbor Expo is all about.” - Helen Miles, Programs/Events Coordinator, Hardin County Chamber of Commerce.
